Users review: Revenge is a difficult concept fresh filmmaking. The main theme, but here in the backseat of execution-style oven. Said during an all-star cast, the story unfolds slowly, but firmly. The entire cast is good and important, but Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson completely steal the show. How bad-to-the-bone villain scenario Harrelson is awesomely despicable his mere presence on screen prompting anxiety. Alternatively Bale plays a good but troubled man, doomed to watch His life is falling apart, one piece at a time. I caught director Scott Cooper, Carson Daly interview segments. He cited a desire to influence the audience and immerse yourself in your movies. In this regard, I want to evaluate these efforts to be an unequivocal success.
