Users review: Last week saw the U.S. rush and could not understand why the critics raved about it so. Yesterday I saw RAIL man and can not understand why the critics were so indifferent. You tense story about one of the greatest World War II. Based on a true story is also a story of love and redemption, two cinema (and literature), the greatest fear. And it offers a vivid reminder that the Japanese in the 1940s were like the Nazis, from another generation, almost a different race. David rejects Bridge on the River Kwai casts a huge shadow over this film. RAIL MAN has curves famous epic grandeur, but I suspect that Alex Guinnesss power would be acting standards are considered very theatrical Today screen. If anything, Colin Firth gives a performance slightly under-powered (and Nicole Kidman's part gives him little to work), but Jeremy Irvine is very likely that the war Lomax, geeky and quietly heroic.
